Puttin’ on the Glitz
With New Years Eve just around the corner…if you’re still hunting for that perfect little dress to show off your sparkle you have come to the right place! First up the dress I wore for the Christmas edition of Smackdown! This dress is a bit more subtle with glitter instead of Sequins…but it still provides major shine and will certainly turn heads. The plunging neckline and choker-like collar is sure to stand out in a crowd. The fabric really clings to the body. So if you go this route, be sure to wear Commando underwear so you can’t see any lines! This dress can be paired with many different heel types, but I went with a nude peep-toe platform.
Heading somewhere warmer? This black sequin bodycon dress will be just what the doctor ordered! The dress is a bit heavier because it is sequins lain over a bandage dress. Also a good fit for those who like the firm hugging of a bandage dress. The sheer black neckline is fun and flirty providing just enough cleavage. Completely tasteful. I chose to pair this look with a black simple pump Louboutin, but it wouldn’t look bad with a nude heel, or black sequined heel.
Next a fave from Haute Glam Boutique! I wore this for the overseas Smackdown taping! I received so many compliments for the unique black and gold color combo and the added sparkle of the sequins! Again, a long sleeve can be vital depending on where you’re at in the country or world and what kind of event you are attending. So be sure to dress accordingly so you can have a fun, comfy and cozy night out!
It’s tough to find different colors in the sequin dress. But this sea foam green is such a winner and so holiday appropriate! Everything doesn’t have to be a primary color all of the time. You can come at New Years Eve with pastels and trust me, it will be alright! I love this dress from Revolve Clothing. It’s simple yet chic and the sequin fabric is very stretchy and comfortable. A three-quarter length sleeve is great for any climate. Always a classy choice!
Finally, you can turn up the simple elegance and go with just a hint of sparkle! This Bebe dress is a total statement piece! The simple grey bodycon is spiced up with the rhinestone cuffs. It’s pretty and eye-catching. It really doesn’t need anything additional, but I chose to take it to the ultimate level of sparkle with this pearl and crystal Baublebar statement necklace. I got so many compliments when I wore this dress for Smackdown! Paired with a nude and silver sparky Louboutin, it’s a home-run hit. Great way to ring in 2016 in style!
